Thank you for the invitation. I live a beautiful life that is full of love. But Iām aware of the need to embrace a slower simpler version as well.š
Such a beautiful essay, thank you Wendy, i enjoyed reading it. I can relate to a lot of what you spoke about--I lost a high-paying job, we moved from the city to the hills, and we too have far less money to spend now, sometimes scraping the bottom of the jar by the end of the month--but Life is so much more fulfilling with our little 2 year old, and with Nature to draw comfort from.. šš I have slowed down, but in a lot of ways I am busier than ever running the house and caring for a toddler, but I'm trying to make space and time for myself, as I too have felt the need to do so in order to protect my physical and emotional well-being. Thank you for sharing your experience and Wisdom. šā¤
Thank you for your lovely words Grace. What a wonderful thing to be ābusyā withā¦raising a toddler and keeping home. The secret I think is in presence, being present with your beautiful child, and that of course means time for you. I love your phrase āscraping the bottom of the jarā; Iāve found so much richness in my own scraping, as well as creativity and resourcefulness. Thank you also for your subscriptionš
You are welcome, Wendy. That is so true, having less makes you careful, makes you value what you have, and yes indeed, makes you resourceful and creative. So true. šš Thank you for your advice about being "present" - I will keep that in mind. ā¤
